We serve domestic and international production teams by offering local expertise and reliable co-operation network. The NFFC, local service companies and crew members are ready to help your film come true!
We provide the following services free of charge:
- Location scouting (up to 3 days for feature films)
- Information on production facilities and locations in the region
- Contact details of local production services companies, equipment rentals and professionals on the field
- Deals with local services (e.g. accomodation and car rental)
- Links to the local authorities and to the audiovisual infrastructure in the region
- Consultation on making efficient shooting arrangements in the region
- Councel on regional funding
Our goal
The North Finland Film Commission was established in 2001 to develop networks and the infrastructure of the local film industry and to increase interest on producing films in the Northern Finland.
NFFC is funded by the Council of Oulu Region, POEM Foundation, Team Botnia (Tornio) and the municipalities of Taivalkoski, Posio and Kuusamo.
The NFFC is a member of the European Film Commissions Network - EUFCN and the Association of Film Commissioners International - AFCI.
